20 Years of Company History.
Built for Bragging Rights.
Built for Play.

Challenge

They came to us asking for a standard website timeline. Knowing Campos, we pushed back and pitched something more honest to who they are. Instead of scrolling through history, we turned it into a game and let people play their way through it.

+ Make it fun and educational
If people were going to learn 20 years of company history, it had to be engaging enough to keep them playing and smart enough to make it stick.

+ Make it unmistakably Campos
Every level, obstacle, and power-up was built from Campos’ real story so it felt personal, specific, and impossible to mistake for anyone else.

+ Make it competitive
A company-wide scoreboard turned the game into bragging rights, pushing offices across the country to compete for the top spot.

Approach

We started with questions, not assumptions, and let real insight shape every move that followed.

+ Get to know Campos
Before we built anything, we took the time to understand Campos at its core. From starting out of a home in Denver 20 years ago to growing into a national company with five offices, their story shaped every decision we made.

+ Create the storyboard
We mapped out key Campos milestones alongside major moments in Denver’s growth. As the company evolved, the city did too, and the game reflects that shared history level by level.

+ Design the game elements
We built a clear system of power-ups, power-downs, and points that kept the gameplay moving and the stakes real. Four playable characters added personality and gave players different ways to experience the same 20 year journey.
