How do you create a beautiful site for an API that extracts thousands of data points from real estate documents? That was the question we had to solve. No stock photography, no custom photoshoot, we had to get creative, yet intentional. With a target audience being mostly developers we knew that they see past the shine of a website, and from our experience, they can’t stand the “sparkle” we as creatives love to incorporate into our websites.

Cypheron Healthcare Solutions is a healthcare billing solutions partner that was undergoing a complete rebrand. This included a new name. TinyWins did a great job creating a name and brand that we could expand upon via the website.

Their new website is the shining star amongst a forest of dull look competitors and positions the brand as a top-tier choice for their target audience.

Apto is a venture-backed tech startup based here in Denver. They faced an identity crisis due to the fact that they are known as an industry-leading, forward-thinking CRM in the commercial real estate field but had an outdated brand and website.

The Apto team set out to upgrade their image and hired Groundwrk to tackle the web design and development. We created a custom WordPress website that has a ton of really cool, subtle features scattered throughout the website. We absolutely LOVE the end result and more importantly, the new site sent a sock of positive energy through Apto’s team providing some much needed excitement.

For CashFund it was simple. They had an outdated brand and website that radiated a cheap look and feel. They offer a better service than their old brand communicated and tasked Groundwrk with fixing that issue.

The logo transformed into a modern design that can be broken up into a stand-alone mark (the F), text (CasFund), or used in its entirety.

The website is a small, simple, yet slick design that offers a few surprises throughout the user experience. We are entering this bad boy into award competitions.

Ski Law is a well-known firm around Denver. If you ski at all, no doubt you’ve seen their billboards as you come down the hill on I70. A little known fact is that Ski Law is a sub-brand of Chalat Law who have been practicing in Denver for nearly 40 years.

It was important to Chalat that the new sites break the mold of the traditional law firm websites that litter the internet. So when we presented the unique design that you see today, they loved it. So, we built the websites using WordPress multisite which allowed us to create that “relatable yet different” feel they were looking for, without the cost of two completely separate websites.

“Headless” sites are the future of WordPress and when we pitched the client a headless site for their self-named brand they had no clue what we were referring to. That’s fair. The “headless” term is somewhat new and gaining popularity amongst the dev community.

Here’s the gist. Via an API, WordPress interacts with a codebase called REACT which produces the user-facing website. REACT allows for lightning-quick load times and an overall more enjoyable website experience. Take a look for yourself. Notice the lack of load time between pages and the little elements that really make the site sparkle.
We also partnered with our friends over at Fix A Fire to bring the vision to life.

CNS Imports is a family-owned wine and spirits importer based in Southern California. They came to Groundwrk needing a refreshed brand and website to match. Rather than scrap the brand and start from scratch, we kept what was working with the logo and modernized it. This allowed CNS to ease into the new look rather than scrapping all marketing material and signage with the old logo featured.

The new website is a stark difference from the old Squarespace site that it replaced. CNS wanted the site to represent the premium and rare products they import while staying true to the company’s past. They love the end result and we love that they love it.

This project hit close to home. Stride Learning offers tutoring to kids and young adults that suffer from executive function disabilities such as ADD. They understand that learning is not a “one size fits all” subject and that today’s educational system treats kids that suffer from these executive function problems like troublemakers.

Stride wanted a site that showed they get it, they care, and that learning can be fun. The site showcases their unique, activity-filled space and images of real Stride students. Since they tutor college-age students, the site also needed to portray a sense of “cool” rather than appear as a standard tutoring facility.

Who said non-profit websites need to look cheap? Not us. MHYC is an organization that helps at-risk youth find jobs, that sometimes lead to careers.

The goal of the new site was to not only bring the brand into 2020 and look attractive to today’s youth, but to also provide an easy to manage backend so that the organization did not need to spend money one website management. Done and Done!

Dazz is a funded startup that is fighting the plastic waste epidemic head-on. Like most startups, their first site was done on a shoestring budget and had a DIY kind of look to it. A significant investment was made in the branding though, which created a nice platform for the Groundwrk team to build from.

WJ Advisors (WJA) is a boutique aviation management consulting firm. While small, they work with the nation’s busiest airports and compete against organizations 100x their size. The new WJ Advisors website needed to portray a sense of authority and credibility while maintaining the “boutique” message.

As you explore the site, you will notice the use of toy business people rather than stock photography. This adds a bit of playfulness to the site which was important to WJA. We also had a lot of fun with the full-page navigation which really polishes the website off.

We love working with cool startups, and that is exactly what The Music Range is. Opening the summer of 2020, they will be providing professional quality music rehearsal space available 24/7.

What sets them apart is their completely digital key system that allows customers to book and enter the facility at any time, day or night, without having to interact with a customer service rep.
